SP.OT ON Social P.L.A.Y Groups
NEXT CAMP STARTS ON JUNE 17th
Meet the Team Behind Our Social Skills Groups
SP.OT ON social skills groups are led by Luna DeCurtis, SLP, and Tami Pallott, OTR/L—two highly experienced and compassionate therapists, each with over 20 years of clinical experience. Luna and Tami have been collaborating for many years and officially teamed up in 2023 to offer a unique program that helps children build the communication, social interaction, and everyday functional skills they need to connect with peers and adults. Their combined expertise in speech-language pathology and occupational therapy ensures a well-rounded, supportive environment where every child can thrive.
“Tami and Luna are the DREAM team for our daughter!!” - Parent
“This camp was like no other… it was a dream come true for our son!” - Parent
These small groups of 4-6 children, focus on improving a wide variety of developmental skills through structured and unstructured supportive environments using P.L.A.Y “Pragmatic Language Activities for the Young” to encourage improved social interactions, teamwork, and self-regulation in real-life scenarios. SP.OT ON groups incorporate various principles, techniques and concepts into the curriculum.
Planned theme activities with curriculum in the following areas:
Fine, Visual & Sensory Motor Skills
Oral Motor / Food Exploration / Feeding Strategies
Social & Language Skills
Gross & Perceptual Motor Skills
Sensory Processing / Self Regulation Skills
Benefits of our Social Play Groups
Builds confidence in interacting with others.
Develop problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Provides a safe natural outdoor space to practice real-world social situations.
Encourages friendships and positive peer relationships
Children do not need to be receiving individual services to participate in the groups, however a brief consultation with both SLP and OT is required prior to attendance. This helps us: Determine each child’s eligibility for the program, assess baseline skills and offer personalized recommendations. Children are thoughtfully grouped based on age, abilities, and areas of need.
